Barbara, I love this overview of the resurrection and the circumstances surrounding it. Recently, during this Holy Week, a lot of people have been discussing in my circle why Christmas is much more commercialized than Easter.

Of course, history certainly plays a role but it’s much easier to believe in the birth of Jesus as a very important historical figure, and much harder to believe in the resurrection. Maybe that’s why Easter doesn’t appeal as much to non-Christian audiences.
