With Election Day in two days, I have been all in on Kamala Harris ever since she took over for Joe Biden. I will proudly cast my ballot for her this year, which is something I never would have said five years ago, or even last year. With just a little over 100 days to put together a presidential campaign, Harris has risen to the occasion, and most certainly could have done a much worse job or made a lot more gaffes like most presidential candidates.

She does not excite me as a voter based on her identity as a Black Asian woman, but she does excite me in how she is the right person to rise to the occasion and someone who can cast a very wide net to the current Democratic coalition to beat Donald Trump.

Was Kamala my first choice? Probably not. But I struggle to name who on the list of Democratic talent would have been since the Bernies and AOCs of the world have been folded into the umbrella and the economic populism message has yielded to more important parts of the culture wars, from race, policing, book bans, and immigration.

I realize my position going all-in on supporting Kamala will not age well if she loses this election, but it is a complete 180 from what I thought of her during her last presidential
