Lord knows that we need cleaning equipment right now, too. It’s fascinating how Yuengling survived prohibition, and thanks for bringing that history to light. I had an organic chemistry professor always say that “if you’re coming up short, change the goal.” He said this as most of us were failing his exams on organometallic reagents and synthesis reactions, but the advice stands tall. We all have our skillsets that are best suited for another race or product.

Look no further than Eliud Kipchoge, the sub 2 marathon runner and now widely acclaimed as the best marathoner of all time. He was a very legitimate runner beforehand, but he was running 5ks on the track and just getting smoked by guys with better finishing kicks like Mo Farah and Kenenisa Bekele. He moved up to the marathon, obviously with a lot of training, and just dominated the event.

I’ve known sprinters who were mediocre and then moved up to distance events to become superb. It’s all about adapting, so thanks for the reminder!
