Sara, this article is well articulated and well-researched. Unfortunately I have no faith that mass quarantine will curb gun violence. It will just show up in other numbers like suicide and domestic violence, as you’ve stated.
In Baltimore, we have a very different problem. The gun violence has not stopped at all. Shootings happen in surrounding neighborhoods and obviously the quarantine is not stopping people from shooting each other. I wrote more about that here:
