There’s definitely no money involved, but the incentive is usually just some compliance target or corrective action plan involved and consistent monitoring of that target for different schools and/or school system. I found a memo in Maryland from a while back that said schools that don’t have enough kids in LRE A in Maryland were put on these kinds of improvement targets. I should say my role is still teacher level, so I’m not an administrator and just facilitate meetings and paperwork, but certainly the best experience for the student and their parent should always be the goal!
