Thanks for the really thoughtful response as always, Joe. I had been on a Bible in a year plan as a devotional that I had fallen behind on but eventually came to see as a completion kind of thing rather than a deep reading of Scripture. I’ll no longer be adhering to that since I did struggle through a good portion of Exodus and Leviticus, and will be doing re-readings of the NT. Nothing is better than a pandemic to push me in that direction — no more excuses!
