Thanks for this piece, Kawandeep, and it’s great to see Juliette featured on this newsletter. She’s one of my favorite writers and someone I work closely with on the platform.

Anyways, as for my #covid-diary, I’m linking this piece on the conflicted feelings of the first year teacher during the coronavirus. I am going through the infamous first year in an inner-city school district in Baltimore. It’s been tough, to say the least, and a lot of teachers I talk to have been discussing how despite us going through a global, deadly pandemic, it’s still a lot less stressful than the average day in the classroom.
