This is an incredible story, Oren. I’m glad Brandon’s stories were able to change Amit’s life and you really did good work there for your friend. I personally find it abrasive when a friend tries to do what they think is best for me, even when they know I’m right. I’m very impulsive and when I self-destruct, it often happens in dramatic fashion.

That happened earlier this year, and in that time I had a friend who was a constant training partner for a marathon pull me by my bootstraps and get me to go on runs with him, going up to 20 miles while we trained for a marathon, when I had no interest in doing so and just wanted to wallow in my room. That friend really helped me during a dark time and that’s your story of Amit reminded me of.
